LOcate your place they lived or owned
Maps can be used to locate a place owned.
When you find that one rented, you must use the owners next to them to locate and area they lived. Rarely will a map locate renters OR tenants to the land. This is rare but very helpful.
CCHS has maps from Homesteads, 1904, 1914, 1923, 1930 and onward for every 5 or 10 years. (just let us know the year and area for your research)
